1. What are 3 records that you can't live without?

2. What's the worst place you've had to stop and get food on tour?
One night, around 11:30pm, we pulled into a truck stop in Gary, Indiana. Attached to the truck stop was a fairly dilapidated 24hour "Family Diner.” While one of the guys fueled up the van, the rest of us headed in and sat at the bar. Everything inside the establishment smelled like it was being held together by rotted meat. Not one person looked to be in good physical condition, in fact, it became apparent that we were swimming in a sea of oversized, Big Gulp travel mugs, and geriatric mobility scooters. Nevertheless, we ignored the plethora of haggard bodies, and quickly skimmed the menu. I ordered a bowl of clam chowder that had, what I still believe to be, more than one pubic hair in it. Upon presenting this culinary bummer to the waitress, I was told "It could be worse."
3. What's your take on people who download your music for free?
It's difficult for me to condemn anyone for downloading our music via torrents without either sounding hypocritical, or getting stoked that someone is even taking that much of an interest in the music that we create. That being said, it would be obvious to state that financially supporting the artists or bands that do create music that you enjoy listening to is absolutely paramount. The money we make from album sales helps fuel the longevity of the band, and ensures that we will afford the opportunity to continue making music that we and our fans enjoy.
To those that have ordered our new album online, we couldn’t be more grateful, and continue to be blown away by how amazing you guys are.
4. Who was your first celebrity crush?
Easy. Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga Lawrence on "Boy Meets World". Gaaahhh.
5. At what moment did you actually realize that your music career was actually going to be able to feed you?
In all honesty...that moment has yet to be realized. Haha. We're at a point now where the band only destroys our personal financial situations a little bit. I know that sounds awful, but it's a serious step up from where we once were. Regardless, we've always been a band that just makes shit work. And on top of that, we have a seriously solid group of people behind us making sure that we're making shit work. Being signed to Metal Blade has allowed us to begin a new level of the game that we hope leads to a moment in which we realize our music career is actually going to be able to feed us.
6. If you could direct a porn scene and have your band's music playing in it, what would the scene be like? (How many people would be performing? Where would it take place? What would they do? Etc.)
ATS is all about being epic. So naturally, this porn scene would take place at the Bodiam Castle in England during a severe lightning storm. Every one of the female performers would be wearing corpse paint, and every one of the male performers would be members of the band GWAR. We'd probably toss in a Peter North or Danny DiVito cameo (whoever is available). The twist? It's less than ten seconds long, and instead of our music being played, the soundtrack would be Napalm Death’s "You Suffer" on repeat. Who wouldn't watch that!?
7. Everyone is reading this interview is taking a break from watching porn to find out about you and your music. What do you have to say to all the perverts out there reading this?
Everyone reading this is definitely on the right site. BurningAngel is the Charlie Sheen of pornography, cooler than everyone else, all the time.
