I like when people play with/abuse the English language. The entire language is a bastardized version of someone else’s language anyway, so why not have fun with it? About ten years ago, I was at a metal fest in San Bernadino and met this band from Long Island, NY...called MYSELF AM HELL. They became my favorite band just because of their name. What do they sound like? They sound like metal. Duh. The singer tried to tell me where the name came from and how it was from this famous literary masterpiece but I cut him off and said, “Myself am Chris, and myself am not listening anymore. You’re awesome. Don’t try and explain it or myself am gonna be bummed.”

Myself Am Hell should go on tour with I Am Ghost. They could call it the E.S.L. tour. I’d be pretty stoked to buy a shirt that said, “SPEAK LOUDER (I no speaka da English)". How awesome would that be? Know what else would be awesome? If I AM GHOST lived up to their name and was a little scary. I mean, it’s Halloween. Give me something. A little “BOOOOOOOOOOO!” isn’t going to hurt anyone. Yeah - the song titles are spooky, but the singing did not scare me. I guess that could be a good thing for most people. Not for me. I do like that they put the "I Kissed A Girl" girl on the cover of their album; me and my wife think she has great tits!
