Joanna: OK. Now tell everyone your name and what you do in Bleeding Through.

Brandon: My name is Brandon, and I sing.

Joanna: How long have you guys been a band for?

Brandon: We�ve been in a band for four years, and a full-time band for two years.

Joanna: You used to be in some other band with a really cute bassist right?

Brandon: (laughs) Yeah, I was in 18 Visions. I left the band because I felt like we were going in different directions.

Joanna: There were probably more girls at 18 Visions shows, right?

Brandon: Actually there�s a constant stream of girls at Bleeding Through shows. I think even more than at 18 Visions shows.

Joanna: Oh really?

Brandon: Yeah.

Joanna: That�s interesting.

Brandon: Yeah, well they�re just sex-metal and we�re death metal.

Joanna: (laughs) I guess that�s a pretty good category for them. So you guys are going on Ozzfest this summer?

Brandon: Yeah, we are. We�re all pretty excited about that.

Joanna: Were you able to make that possible because your old roadie dated Kelly Osbourne?

Brandon: No no no. We�ve been friends with Kelly for a long time, I mean it may have given us some leverage, but we still submitted a package and paid just like everyone else.

Joanna: How do you feel about the fact that yourselves, along with so many other hardcore bands, are going on a total mainstream tour that bands like �Korn� and �Chevelle� headlined last year?

Brandon: I mean, I think it�s great. There are so many great bands who work their asses off for so long and just don�t get any recognition. It�s really hard to be a full-time musician when your band is struggling. Back in like, �98 which wasn�t even that long ago, the only �hardcore� bands that were full-time were like Earth Crisis and Strife. Basically you had to be the biggest band in the hardcore scene.

Joanna: Yeah, even those bands weren't on Headbangers Ball.

Brandon: Yeah, it's all pretty exciting. I remember watching old Megadeth videos on that show when I was a kid, I never thought I'd get the chance to be on it. Hey, how�s that muffin of yours?

Joanna: It's actually a little bit stale.

Brandon: Yeah, this doughnut is beat.

Joanna: That sucks. It was probably made at six in the morning.

Brandon: I thought this interview was going to be about sex.

Joanna: We�re getting to that.

Brandon: Oh, OK.

Joanna: Well, do you have any tour stories you can tell me?

Brandon: There's been a lot of band excursions. You know, like when a dude is like getting stuff done to him and hooking up with someone else at the same time and someone else is videotaping it.

Joanna: So there's a Bleeding Through porn floating around somewhere?

Brandon: Yeah, I guess so.

Joanna: You should let me put it on Burning Angel. I could put black bars on everyone�s eyes and no one would even know.

Brandon: (laughs) I'll have to check with everyone else.

Joanna: So I'm sure you have other stories.

Brandon: (laughs) Why are you so sure?

Joanna: I don't know. I can just smell it on you.

Brandon: I mean I get laid, I won't deny it. I'm not a slut, I'm just open about my sexuality.

Joanna: (laughs) That's what I'm going to start telling people, too.

Brandon: I mean, I�m not going to try and say I�d deny a good opportunity.

Joanna: Yeah well when you're on tour, it's not like you can bring a girl back to your apartment or anything, so you have to be creative with where you do it.

Brandon: Yeah, like behind the stage when another band is playing.

Joanna: Really?! You did that?

Brandon: Yeah, in Vegas. There was like a curtain and we hid behind it.

Joanna: Did you feel all the vibrations from the bass and the drums on the stage?

Brandon: (laughs) Yeah. I mean, we were kind of scared we were gonna get caught so it didn�t last for that long.

Joanna: Was that your idea? Were you like, hey, my name is Brandon, do you want to go fuck behind the stage?

Brandon: No, we were about to go do it in the van but we got sidetracked on our way there and just wound up behind the stage.

Joanna: That�s pretty hot.

Brandon: (blushes) Yeah, I guess it was. There were definitely some bystanders who caught a glimpse of it.

Joanna: Do you like having sex in front of other people?

Brandon: Well, kind of. I�ve watched one too many Rocco pornos. I�m kind of a freak.

Joanna: Would you have sex in a room with other people with a girl on Burning Angel, while Chummy was filming it?

Brandon: (laughs) I don�t know about that.

Joanna: Did you ever have sex with another guy and a girl?

Brandon: Come on, I�m from Orange County. I�ve done that a few times.

Joanna: Were any of those times with Mick?

Brandon: (laughs) I think so.

Joanna: Wow. That�s awesome.

Brandon: (laughs) Why is that so awesome?

Joanna: I don�t know, it just is. So Burning Angel is in the process of making a DVD. Is there any special requests you have before we shoot the next scene?

Brandon: I like rough sex. I�m so over the softcore shit.

Joanna: In the last scene we shot, the guy and girl both liked it rough, so they were like spitting in each other�s mouths and beating the shit out of each other. I think you would like it.

Brandon: Yeah, I love spitting in a girl�s mouth. It�s so hot.

Joanna: You like choking them and stuff, too?

Brandon: Yeah if a girl�s into it. I like all the rough shit, I just don�t like biting. That�s where I draw the line.

Joanna: Have you ever had two girls on you at the same time?

Brandon: Yeah, I have actually.

Brandon: I think I have a little too much under my belt.
