To sum up my week, bleh. The management school was a breeze, but with the looming Ball at the end of the week....That always makes me nervous. Where I work, it's a show for us. The event funds our local symphony. 400 plus, and you need to get it right. Ice sculpts, butler pans, multiple bars, and wave after wave of food. 400+ vs 15 dedicated people. Everyone tossed in and made it work under 40hr work week. No overtime, got make the books work. I, myself, left early through out the week. Just so I could see it through on the saturday. 8:30-9:30pm. No breaks to spare. The funny part was being stuck in a industrial freezer,... continue reading

Thanks for the tip about Geek Chic, Mikado. The Alexandria looks awesome; sadly, though, it's a touch pricey. Looks like I'll have to stick with long boxes for my comic collection, and settle for something from Ikea to display my trade paperbacks, hardcovers, and Absolute editions... :)
