I got a response back from the bamboo farm in Hawaii I emailed. They have an internship open. The drawback: It's going to take five months of planning to get Japhy over there. Look at him! How could you leave him behind?!
That's his spot. That bright light is the door. He sits on top of the chair looking through the window at all the passerbies. It's adorable and I love him more then anything on this earth.
In some other other news, I've lost like 10 pounds with all the walking and biking I've been doing. I love not having a car here! Not to mention I haven't eaten fast food since I arrived here nearly two months ago! Mostly fruit, vegetables, yogurt, granola, cheese, etc. Oh and my hair is longer now, almost down to my shoulders! I'll take a picture, it looks hot!
