Here are some pictures from the vacation I took to California last month. I left the day after my 21st bday (Aug12) and spent a few days in San Diego with Brian Street Team, then stayed with Andy San Dimas in LA, then visited my friend Ryan (who doesn't do porn, actually) in Santa Barbara.
BST makes a pretty good temporary/pseudo boyfriend if ya ever need one. We did lots of fun San Diego stuff! He took me on bike rides to Mission Beach and we rode a wooden rollercoaster in Belmont Park (due to operator failure we got an extra ride for free!). We did a lot of drinking and ate tons of yummy food. I got to see the rad store he slings smut at on occasion and quickly learned that he likes to be the little spoon. We even hung out with Swindle one night and watched her bake cupcakes for her boyfriend in her underwear and I got molested by her dog.
I had to pedal pretty hard to keep up with him. It was a nice reminder of how out of shape I am, haha ;) No pain, no gain!

BST, bein the sweetheart he is, drove me up to LA on the 16th. The next day I got a chance to hang with my friend Ssippi & Bobbi Starr and we met up with Dana DeArmond and a nice guy named James to go out for ice cream at Scoops. That place is amazing... I can't wait to go back! I think the flavor I tried was oreo & maple. Weird, original, and DELICIOUS. Later that evening, Andy, Vin and I went to the mall to pick up a few things and I got an iPhone because my blackjack2 started acting up... it might have been a result of drunkely dropping it... a lot. Then we went back to their place and started to get ready for my birthday party at Les Deux!!
Andy & I decided that we liked how our dresses looked on each other... so we switched outfits and it worked out quite nicely. Damn she makes me look so pasty. Ha.

That week, we went to the beach in Santa Monica, but right before we got there it became windy, overcast, and chilly! We hungout on the fake grass for a bit then bailed to get some food. At least we triiiied.

On the 20th I took the train up to Santa Barbara and hungout there, drank a lot of Stella, then flew home really early on the 23rd. I didn't take many pictures because I had a fever one of the days I was there and it sorta prevented me from seeing much, but Id totally go back. Santa Barbara seems pretty rad & it's super pretty. Hell, I did get some delicious vegan stir fry out of it too, thanks to my friend Ryan.
I had so much fucking fun on my vacation. I needed to get out of Illinois for a bit and just have a good time. As much as I love Chicago, I HATE the weather here and I know I'll end up on the west coast someday... only time can tell.
