there is something very empowering about putting together your own furniture. until a few months ago i relied on men for quite a few things. i dont' know why. if i needed something fixed, replaced, nailed in or whatever i would just let it sit there until someone volunteered their services. i guess i've changed a lot in the past year or so.

i feel better each single day. i am working on restoring my plant collection (i lost most of my plants during my last breakup). i am finally unpacking for real and my room is starting to look like a real room. i still mourn the loss of at least half of my trade paperbacks though. i don't even have a shelf full of them now and i know for a fact that i at least had another shelf of them.

today is valentines day. it's a beautiful day out, so bright and sunny. hopefully today will end in wine and snuggles. who knows....

anyways, i always feel that when i make happy entries people are bored by them. i get less comments on them. i guess i'd rather be boring and happy then juicy and miserable.
