I clicked on this entry because it looked like that shitty Killswitch Engage song from guitar hero, and I was going to make fun of you. Then I realized that the content of the entry was some to which I am altogether familiar with. I'm sure that sounds slightly emo, but luckily I am lacking in razorblades and girlpants, so, it's all good. It's something we all have to learn to deal with at one point or another. Doesnt seem like there's any real time of year it occurs more than others, just that it happens more often than not. Personally, I find strength in alcohol and writing. Dr. Phil was sanctioned in 1989 for having a "sexually inappropriate" relationship with a patient but he didn't bother taking the steps to correct it so he's not licensed to practice psychology. He just got a sweet job after Oprah shoved his shit down the collective throat of American culture despite his complete lack of qualifications. He's pretty much just Springer with a Southern accent.

Seriously, though, your dilemma is very common. Try to focus on things that don't have any emotional weight and let your aching heart and psyche cure itself.
