Here is Me, Skin, Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis all ready and excited to make the best 15 minute movie/Easter egg on a CD ever made.

The Woodsman is a movie about a group of people who go camping in Australia, and then one by one get killed by a crazy evil dude known as "The Woodsman" who really doesn't like tourists. That is basically the gist of it. Unfortunately the budget didn't have enough to allot for actually going to Australia, so we just shot in a part that looked kind of like Australia. One of the things the Woodsman does in the movie, is fight a crocodile... because that is what heroic Australian people do.
Here I am with the crocodile. It's totally a mini crocodile... awwww how cute!

And here is Jason Ellis as The Woodsman.

Skin, My European girlfriend who has now moved to Los Angeles was also in the movie. She is the only camper that doesn't die. And why doesn't she die? Well, because she was saved by dun dun dun... Tony Hawk! The world famous skateboarder.

and here we all are. Me, Skin and Tony Hawk hanging out in "Australia".

I will say, Tony Hawk is by far the nicest famous person I have ever met.
Prior to this shoot we had only met once - at the Transworld Skateboarding awards show for about 2 seconds. He remembered me! Which I thought was very considerate, and also made me feel incredibly guilty. I am quite bad at remembering people I meet and I am sure I meet way less people than he does. I should really get better at that. He was very down to earth, and really enjoyable to be around. He doesn't act like he's better than anyone else, even though he in actuality is a lot better than a lot of people.
After he "saved skin" he was wrapped for the day and we still had a lot of stuff to shoot. He left his phone on set. Someone found it and put it aside. For a few moments everyone on set devised some exciting evil plans we could do with his phone, like text certain celebrities and profess our love to them, or divulge that their spouses were cheating on them. Then I decided that was childish, and if we were going to break into Tony Hawk's phone we should really do more productive things with it, like I should log onto his twitter page and post "from now on the only website I am going to is JoannaAngel.com." He has over 2 million followers! Imagine what that would do! Everyone on set joked around about the incredible things we could do with our careers all with the power of one tweet from Tony Hawk's phone.
But Tulley (the screen-writer for The Woodsman, who also used to work on the Jason Ellis show and also has his own radio show on Faction) said it best, when he said "well that would cause a whole lot of problems to someone who doesn't deserve that at all" and we all agreed. I better have some amazing karma now or I will be pissed! Good things better start happening... or else!!!!
In any case, I had a lot of fun. Me and Jason Ellis totally bonded as he fake killed me in a wig and a knee brace. It really brought us closer together.
Here are some other fun pictures from the shoot!
Here is the crocodile getting ready for it's closeup.
