I swear, I am gonna put myself on a better blogging schedule. Life is so busy! It really is. I am not lying. Once again- please- Follow me on Twitter if you do care to keep up with me life on a more frequent basis. I know- that is probably a bad business move on my part to tell you to go somewhere other than my own website to keep up with my life.... but twitter really is just the most awesome networking tool every on the face of the planet- and it is perfect for people like me, who have lots of things to say and just not enough time to say them.

I don't really know where to begin. Since my last blog I was in New York, then left New York....(and had a great time at the BurningAngel anniversary party- take this as a very late thank you for coming) came back to LA, went to Indianapolis - then back to LA, and then this Thursday I will be going to Miami for the Exxxotica convention. The Miami convention is one of my favorites. I am signing at a booth called "Fantasy Island" which is basically this area of the convention hall decorated with plastic palm trees, flamingos, and other inflatable island themed shit- and a whole bunch of porn stars station themselves and sign there for the weekend. It's terribly trashy and awesome- if you skipped Spring Break this year- well, then go to Miami now and make up for it and hang out with me over the weekend. We can hold hands underneath the faux volleyball net. 

I wasn't sure what to blog about- but I just got an email a few hours ago that inspired me. See, I really love you all- but sometimes, you really send ridiculous emails asking or complaining about really insane things. I try to listen to everyone's complaints and take them into account.... but I can't please everyone. A few years ago there was an influx of complaints about the sex being "too rough" on the website so I toned it down a notch. This was understandable. But we really do get complaints about the colors of couches, outfits, hair-styles, scenarios that should have gone one way instead of another... um.... the list could go on and on. Now I really love you all and I do take every email I read seriously- but sometimes, I just have to laugh. Today I got a particularly strange email, so I figured I would share it with you. 

There is a bar in Queens called "Hell Gate Social" - the owner was kind enough to have let us shoot there. We shot the scene with Misti and James Deen there, and we also shot the scene with Draven, James, Nova and Me in Fuck me in the Bathroom # 3 there- and we also shot the newest set of Azrael's photos there as well. On Azrael's photo set, I gave the bar a plug in the description.... I will be honest I have never been to the bar while it was open but the owner- George, made the best Bloody Mary's I had ever had in my life.... and that's good in my book. A good Bloody Mary is hard to find. It was not some kind of bullshit from a mix- this tasted like a real organic garden mixed with vodka... or something. I can't explain it! I also really liked the decor of the bar- it was pretty neat... and it was called "Hell Gate Social" which I think is a pretty rad name. Anyways,all these positive factors I think justified a nice plug for the bar. You know, I own a business, and I am a little bit cool- like I don't wear a suit and act all corporate and shit.... so when I meet another business owner who is down like that I want them to do well and if there is anything I can do to help I will! 

Apparently- someone was REALLY pissed off by my respect for the bar. Here is the email I got about it. 

Your recent depiction of it as a good bar is an outright falsehood. Like every other bar in Queens, it is plagued by swarms of Greek guidos and faux-yuppies that can't afford the rent in Manhattan. They also dedicate a night of the week for people to play that insipid and vacuous video game "Rock Band." Truly a sad commentary about the bar's standing and ability to draw customers.

I'm writing to demand an immediate retraction, lest any sucker actually show up there expecting a good time. They would be more likely to complain about a boiling hot coffee enema being "too sweet" than to be afforded such a luxury in that den of mediocrity.

He really hates the bar! And- he really hates rock-band! And Queens! Ahhhh!

I kinda like RockBand .... does that make me lame? I will admit- I was kind of pissed off about shooting in Queens but after shooting there a few days in a row.... I decided that Queens is OK. I was always very anti-queens, not for any real reason... Tommy Pistol grew up there and I used it as fuel to make fun of him all the time in the early days of BurningAngel. Sigh. I miss those days! 

I just find it humorous that I put photos on the website of a super hot girl spreading her vag open on a sink- and someone chooses to write in about how much they hate the bar in which the sink is in.

You guys are all crazy! But I love you. And your attention to detail is pretty spectacular. 

Hopefully this second opinion on Hell Gate Social was informative on some level.... to someone...
