Yeah, so I am in New Jersey AGAIN. It's like I can't get away from here. Every month there seems to be something I need to do in New Jersey. Maybe I should like, go back to college and take some more classes or something. Why I am here is not so exciting. It's business bullshit. But Jessie Lee is with me =) and Jessie Lee makes New Jersey a lot better.
Anyways- I don't really like to talk about politics much- it opens up a can of worms and there are so many bloggers who are better at that sort of thing so I leave it up to them. I vote, I used to be extremely politically active- I am not so much anymore but, I do care about what goes on. Maybe I should talk about politics more on here... hmmm... but anyways
DID YOU SEE THE FUCKING DEBATES EVERYONE?!
Seriously, it really was spectacular. Anyone who didn't see them really should go on You Tube and watch them. Sarah Palin is out of this world. She turned the debate into a big spectacle- and poor Joe Biden actually took the thing seriously and is just getting attacked for it.
First of all, I think she is completely psychotic. Like I think if McCain wins (which would really really be an awful tragedy) I think she might kill him in her sleep so she could be the president. I actually don't think she is as dumb as everyone says she is- but I do think she would be the most god awful president in the history of time. I think we can all agree on this- or at least I hope we can.
However- she really should have a reality TV show, or something. I could actually see her hosting America's Next Top Model. I think she would make a spectacular Tyra... quite frankly, I am getting sick of Tyra. Palin could easily do her job. I think Hot Topic should make little Palin Barbie dolls with slutty little dresses that say Alaska on them. I also think Sarah Palin should try to be the next Vivid contract girl. She TOTALLY seems like the type. Most of the Vivid contract girls are really good at talking about Vivid to the public, they carry themselves well, they dress nicely, they're pretty, and they're terrible in bed. I could see her doing that very well. Or maybe she should be on one of those Pro-Active commercials. Yeah. She would rock that add.
Anyways, I don't need to re-iterate the highlights- you can read about them online just about everywhere. I have watched every presidential debate since I was 8 years old- the first one i saw was George Bush Sr against Dukakis. I remember it being so boring- I tried to tell my dad to change the channel so I could watch cartoons. Boring. That's what presidential debates are supposed to be. The candidates are supposed to talk about issues, and how they are going to solve them. Poor Joe Biden is now being called boring by all these critics on the news- as if that's a bad thing.
I am glad and really depressed at the same time that I watched it.
Palin is making me question my feminism. Like, I believe in woman's rightes, but I don't think she should have any rightes. Well... I guess she can have some. She can eat and sleep and breathe and like, maybe model lingere or something in a Victoria's Secret catalogue... but she shouldn't be allowed to run for office. Seriously.
