on the carton of mac and cheese it says there are 3 servings in the box, and one serving is approximately one cup. I don't get it. Every time I open a box of mac and cheese i have to eat the whole thing. Who eats one cup of mac and cheese at a time! That is pure insanity....if you eat one cup, and there is more left in the pot... well... you're going to eat the whole thing! Aren't you? Am I alone in this? Am I just a big pig? Because I really tried to eat the appropriate serving size of mac and cheese tonight and it didn't work. I failed miserably. I tried to save some forJames for when he gets home from work but there is nothing left. I ate the whole box.
Jessie Lee is the one who re-introduced me to Mac and Cheese. When she came out to LA in December, she kind of reminded me that it existed. It was one of those foods that I just forgot about. The only things I really remember going into Jessie's mouth for the 8 days she was in LA was either penis, mac and cheese, or cigarettes. It was truly amazing.

So, I had an incredibly boring and lovely and relaxing fourth of July weekend. On July 3rd in the evening James and I went to this little wine bar in Pasedena- we love it there. I usually drink a lot when I go there but I was like, not inthe mood this weekend. I drank about two glasses of wine and then got tired and went home to go to bed. On the 4th, I answered a whole bunch of emails I havne't answered in the past 6 months, I called my mom and talked to her on the phone for a bit... I took a nap, and I watched James edit "Rock and Roll in my Butthole." Well I didn't just watch... I uh... "supervised?" you know, I said "put this here, put that there, take that out, put that in" etc. Mick Blue came over around 7pm and forced us to get out of the house. Me, Mick Blue and James all went to see Hancock- it was alright. The ending was stupid I thought... but up till the ending it was actually OK. When we walked out of the movies, there were fireworks in the parking lot of the movie theatre.... So I stood in between Mick and James and we all watched them. It is somewhat romantic to watch fireworks with your boyfriend, and another guy you've had sex with on camera a bunch of times who is good friends with your boyfriend. I came to the daunting conclusion that fireworks are actually quite boring when you are not drunk.
Yesterday, I was home most of the day and then I went to Whole Foods in the early evening and made myself a salad at their salad bar. It turns out I have a fan who works at the whole foods down the street from me, who was kind enough to offer a discount on my salad. That was pretty awesome. If you are reading this- THANK YOU. Those salads are expensive. That discount really helped. It really did make me happy. I have to admit- I sometimes get embarassed when people notice me out in public without makeup on and stuff but I would have to assume someone who works at WholeFoods for a living doesnt care about that stuff. Right?
Then at night... Cadence and Nailhead (I can't believe his name really is Nailhead) came over for dinner... well they came over and COOKED me dinner. It was pretty cool. I must say. Nailhead is a good chef. I know you wouldn't think much of someone named Nailhead's cooking but... really... it was awesome. Then I drank some more wine and passed out on the couch around like, midnight. Yeah, I know. I'm SO LAME.
Today I did some laundry and sat on the computer talking to Taryn most of the day and I just made some mac and cheese and then I wrote this blog entry. I don't even know why I told you all this.
This week is the Xbiz confrence in Vegas... I need to get some new bikinis before I go there. I am sure I will be a lot more exciting in Vegas than I was this weekend here but... I dunno. It was actually pretty nice to lounge around and do nothing. Fuck. I think I forgot to shower today. Did I even shower yesterday? Maybe I should go do that now...
