this past wednesday and thursday i went to see my friends in the flatliners play with less than jake. who were also touring with this band called the expendables. the expendables had a smoke machine going for their entire 45 minute set. i feel like all the fake smoke somehow got trapped in the downstairs backstage lounge at irving. which is where i was the majority of the night on wednesday. between the fake smoke, and the cigarette smoke all in that tiny room, my lungs are pretty much hating me right now. i woke up thursday morning with the worst cough of my life. all yesterday i slept, and coughed, and slept some more. i think i slept an entire 24 hours. which i never really thought was possible. today i still feel like complete shit, but i can at least function a little. i'm currently drinking green tea and trying to eat a sandwich. but my taste buds hate me and won't let me taste anything. it's very sad when you haven't eaten a thing in 2 days and then you aren't able to taste your favorite meal. anyway, other than getting sick, i had a lot of fun wednesday and thursday. i even saw miss kylee kross. she's so cute. :)
