Sorry it's been awhile guys. I have been feeling awful.
The
shower was wonderful! I was worried about everyone having fun, but it
went well. New people met and were conversing. We played fun games and
had great food. I must thank Zack's parents first and foremost. They
were so nice to host at their house. And provided the food!! I also
must thank Ashley and Dani for all their support in walking me through
all this and taking me shopping. And Arwen, the cake was so beautiful!
There were pics taken, so as soon as I get those, I will get them to
you!
Thanks to everyone who came to support us.
We
got so many wonderful things as gifts. Tons of clothes! Natasha
(darkgoth) even gave us an IOU for our first baby photo shoot. I need
to get started on washing everything so its ready for her when she gets
here.
We didn't get everything we need though. But I see that
as a good excuse to go shopping. Just got to check my list to see what
we are missing.
I had woke up with a sore throat the day of the
shower, but ignored it. Then Monday it was much worse. So we went to
the clinic. I was so scared it was strep. Thankfully the test came back
negative. Turns out I have severe allergies. Never dealt with this
before. They put me on steroids and allergy medication. Hopefully I
will be better tomorrow for my OB appointment.
Not too much exciting right now. I'm in that waiting stage...But I will keep you all informed as new developments occur!
