I can't stand today. I woke up very swollen, so I was confined to the couch all day. I hated it. This is the first time I have been up for more than 10 minutes.

My weekend was nice. My best friend from grade school drove all the way here to visit. It was great. We spent most of the weekend lounging. We did girly stuff and watched tv. Then she took me out for dinner and we went downtown for a bit. I got to drive her new Mazda.I miss her a lot and she may not be able to make the baby shower, so I really appreciated getting to spend time with her.

I don't know how much longer I can stand to be pregnant. I have officially hit the "wall". I am supposed to be close to the point where she "drops", usually relieving the mother of a lot of the pressure under the ribs and the trouble breathing. But no such luck yet. And I hate feeling tethered to the couch. But its the only way to keep the swelling down.

Blah, ok I know I am complaining a lot. And I know that women have been having babies for eons. So I should just shut up. But isn't that what a blog is for???
