I tried out PoleRider (http://poleriders.blogspot.com/) today. Basically, Andrew, the genius behind pole rider, attached a pole stage to the back of his bike. He plans to rent out PoleRider to parties (along with pole dancers), and use it for advertising, but today we just used it for a little pleasure cruise around Chelsea. I bundled up my top half with like 8 layers of sweaters because I needed the friction of the bare skin on my legs to help me climb. Suprisingly, I wasn't too cold, and I felt extremely stable as Andrew peddled us (the pole and I) around. A lot of people stopped to take pictures, cars honked their horns, and a group of guys playing soccer started screaming "I LOVE YOUUUUUU" at the top of their lungs as we rode by. At the end of our ride, we stopped by to say hi to my mom at her house, she was really excited and took some photos as well.
